Westway Holdings

Westway Holdings Limited went into administration in May 2020. Before this time, investors were complaining that they were not receiving interest on their bonds or were not receiving full returns for their bonds that had matured.

Whilst defaulting on these payments, Westway were also corresponding with clients to advise that regulated bonds were being put on the market and that this would raise the funds to return payments. After further investigation, it appears this bond was not regulated and was not ever listed for sale as it didn’t exist which was further deceiving their investors.

Westway Holdings and the investments offered were unregulated therefore meaning the  investors are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

However, after further research it has become apparent that if a person was advised to make an investment by a regulated firm then there may be a claim. If you received advice from Copia Wealth Management, Ipsum Invest (Met Facilities), UK Stock and Bonds or European American Capital Services or another regulated advisor you may be due compensation.

Please get in touch today to see if we can help you claim back the compensation you are owed.
